Al-A 'araaf 2 of 24
We created you, then We shaped you, then We said to the angels: 'Bow yourselves to Adam'; so they bowed themselves, save Iblis -- he was not of those that bowed themselves. 11 Said He, 'What prevented thee to bow thyself, when I commanded thee?' Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 12 Said He, 'Get thee down out of it; it is not for thee to wax proud here, so go thou forth; surely thou art among the humbled.' 13 he replied: 'Respite me till the Day of Resurrection' 14 [Allah] said, "Indeed, you are of those reprieved." 15 He said, “Hence I swear by the fact that You sent me astray, I will certainly lay in wait for them on Your Straight Path.” 16 then I shall come on them from before them and from behind them, from their right hands and their left hands; Thou wilt not find most of them thankful.' 17 "Begone," said (God), "contemptible and rejected! As for those who follow you, I shall fill up Hell with all of you. 18 And said, “O Adam! You and your wife dwell in Paradise – therefore eat from it from wherever you wish, and do not approach this tree for you will become of those who transgress.” 19 But Satan suggested (evil) to them, in order to reveal their hidden parts of which they were not aware (till then), and said: "Your Lord has forbidden you (to go near) this tree that you may not become angels or immortal." 20 And he swore to them both: Most surely I am a sincere adviser to you. 21 Thus Satan brought about their fall by deceit. And when they tasted of the tree, their shame became vislible to them, and both began to cover themselves with leaves from the Garden. Then their Lord called out to them: 'Did I not forbid you from that tree, and did I not warn you that Satan 'is your declared enemy?' 22 They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers." 23 Said He: "Down with you, [and be henceforth] enemies unto one another, having on earth your abode and livelihood for a while: 24 He said: 'There you shall live and there you shall die, and from there you shall emerge' 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
