We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 But the assembly of his nation said: 'We can see that you are in clear error.' 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 I am delivering unto you my Sustainer's messages and giving you good advice: for I know [through revelation] from God what you do not know. 62 Do you wonder that admonition should come to you from your Lord through a man from amongst yourselves that he may warn you, that you may avoid evil and that mercy may be shown to you?' 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
