Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 The leading men of his people replied: 'We see that you are in palpable error.' 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
