Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 The chieftains of his people said: Lo! we see thee surely in plain error. 60 Said he, 'My people, there is no error in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being.' 61 “Conveying to you the messages of my Lord and wishing good for you, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
