Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 Said the eminent among his people, "Indeed, we see you in clear error." 60 He said: O my people! not with me is the error, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 sent to preach to you the message of my Lord and to give you good advice. I know what you do not know about God. 62 Do you find it so strange that a message should come from your Lord through a man from among yourselves, so that he may warn you and so that you may fear God and be shown mercy?" 63 And yet they gave him the lie! And so We saved him and those who stood by him, in the ark, the while We caused those who had given the lie to Our messages to drown: verily, they were blind folk! 64
