Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 Marvel ye that there should come unto you a Reminder from your Lord by means of a man among you, that he may warn you, and that ye may keep from evil, and that haply ye may find mercy. 63 But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people. 64
