Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 The leading men of his people replied: 'We see that you are in palpable error.' 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
