Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you and that you might guard (against evil) and so that mercy may be shown to you? 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
