We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 He said: O my people! not with me is the error, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people. 64
