Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day. 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 He said: "O my people! No wandering is there in my (mind): on the contrary I am a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds! 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you; and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 (But) they belied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who belied Our verses. Surely, they were a blind nation. 64
