And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy." 63 And yet they gave him the lie! And so We saved him and those who stood by him, in the ark, the while We caused those who had given the lie to Our messages to drown: verily, they were blind folk! 64
