Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day! 59 But the assembly of his nation said: 'We can see that you are in clear error.' 60 Said [Noah], "O my people! I am not in error. Indeed, I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds, 61 "I convey unto you the Messages of my Lord and give sincere advice to you. And I know from Allah what you know not. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 They accused him of telling lies. So We saved him and his companions in an ark and drowned those who called Our revelations mere lies. They were, no doubt, a blind people. 64
