Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 Said the eminent among his people, "Indeed, we see you in clear error." 60 He said: O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds. 61 I deliver to you the messages of my Lord, and I offer you good advice and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Do you wonder that a Remembrance should come to you from your Lord to a man from yourselves in order that he may warn you and that you may be cautious so that mercy comes upon you' 63 But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people. 64
