Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 The chiefs of his people said: Most surely we see you in clear error. 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people. 64
