Never have We sent a Prophet to a place without trying its people with adversity and hardship that they may humble themselves. 94 and then We changed their hardship into ease until they grew affluent and said, "Our fathers had also experienced adversity and prosperity," then We seized them suddenly, unawares. 95 And had the people of the dwellings believed and been pious, We would have surely opened for them the blessings from the sky and from the earth, but in fact they denied, and We therefore seized them on account of their deeds. 96 Did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our Punishment by night while they are asleep? 97 Or, are the people of the townships secure that Our wrath would not come upon them by daylight while they are disporting themselves? 98 Then did they feel secure from the plan of Allah? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allah except the losing people. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
