Al-A 'araaf 12 of 24

Never have We sent a Prophet to a place without trying its people with adversity and hardship that they may humble themselves. 94 then We gave them in the place of evil good, till they multiplied, and said, 'Hardship and happiness visited our fathers.' So We seized them suddenly, unawares. 95 And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning." 96 Are the people of the townships then secure that Our wrath would not come upon them at night while they are slumbering? 97 or that which could seize them during their busy hours of the day? 98 Did they then feel secure against the Plan of Allah. None feels secure from the Plan of Allah except the people who are the losers. 99
