To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear? 100 We have told you the stories of those towns: their messengers came to them with clear signs, but they were never going to believe in something they had already rejected. Thus God seals up the hearts of those who deny the truth. 101 And We did not find in most of them any (faithfulness to) covenant, and We found most of them to be certainly transgressors. 102 Then we raised after them Musa with Our communications to Firon and his chiefs, but they disbelieved in them; consider then what was the end of the mischief makers. 103 And Moosa said, “O Firaun! Indeed I am a Noble Messenger from the Lord Of The Creation.” 104 I must only speak what is true about God. I have brought you miracles from your Lord; therefore, let the children of Israel go free". 105 (Pharaoh) said: If thou comest with a token, then produce it, if thou art of those who speak the truth. 106 Thereupon Moses threw his rod, and suddenly it was a veritable serpent. 107 Then he drew out his hand, and it appeared luminous to all beholders. 108
