Said the eminent among the people of Pharaoh, "Indeed, this is a learned magician 109 and said, "He wants to expel you from your land." They asked (others), " what is your opinion in the matter? 110 They said: "Put him and his brother off (for a time), and send callers (men) to the cities to collect (and) - 111 to bring thee every cunning sorcerer.' 112 And the magicians came to Pharaoh and said: 'Shall we have a reward if we win?' 113 He said, 'Yes, indeed; and you shall be among the near-stationed.' 114 They said, "Moses, will you first throw, or shall we?" 115 He answered: "You throw [first]." And when they threw down [their staffs,] they cast a spell upon the people's eyes, and struck them with awe, and produced mighty sorcery. 116 And We inspired Moses (saying): Throw thy staff! And lo! it swallowed up their lying show. 117 ۞ So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing. 118 The magicians who were defeated on the spot and were proved to be worthless, 119 and the magicians flung themselves prostrate, 120 They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds, 121 the Lord of Moses and Aaron' 122 Pharaoh said: 'Do you believe in Him before I permit? This is a plot that you have contrived in the city in order to expel its people from it. Now you shall know! 123 "I will have your hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, and have you all crucified." 124 They said: "For us, We are but sent back unto our Lord: 125 You would punish us only because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they were shown to us. Our Lord, pour patience upon us, and cause us to die in a state of submission to You." 126

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
