Al-A 'araaf 23 of 24
We shall punish those who deny Our revelations slowly in a way that they will not know. 182 And I will give them respite; indeed My secret plan is extremely solid. 183 Has it, then, never occurred to them that there is no madness whatever in [this] their fellowman? He is only a plain warner. 184 Have they not contemplated the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything created by God, (to educe) that perhaps their own term is drawing to a close? In what lore after this would they then believe? 185 To such as Allah rejects from His guidance, there can be no guide: He will leave them in their trespasses, wandering in distraction. 186 They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not." 187 Say, “I have no autonomy to benefit or hurt myself, except what Allah wills; and were I to procure knowledge of the hidden on my own, it would be that I had accumulated a lot of good; and no misfortune would touch me; I am purely a Herald of Warning and Glad Tidings to the people who believe.” 188
