O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him while you hear [his order]. 20 And be not like those who say: "We have heard," but they hear not. 21 ۞ Surely the vilest of animals, in Allah's sight, are the deaf, the dumb, who do not understand. 22 And had Allah known in them any good He would surely, have made them hear; but (being as they, are) even if He made them hear, they would have surely turned away in aversion. 23 Believers, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which revives you. Know that Allah is between the person and his heart, and that toHim you shall all be gathered. 24 And guard yourselves against a chastisement which cannot fall exclusively on those of you who are wrong-doers, and know that Allah is severe in punishment. 25 And remember when you were only a few and meek in the land, and feared that men may snatch you away – He therefore gave you refuge and strengthened you with His help, and gave you good things as sustenance, so that you may be thankful. 26 O Ye who believe! defraud not Allah and the apostle, nor defraud your trusts while ye know. 27 Know that your worldly possessions and your children are just a temptation, and that God has greater rewards with Him. 28
