▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. 59 Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged. 60 ۞ If they (the unbelievers) propose peace, accept it and trust in God. God is All-hearing and All-knowing. 61 And if they wish to deceive you, then indeed Allah is Sufficient for you; it is He Who has given you strength, with His help and with the Muslims. 62 And (moreover) He hath put affection between their hearts: not if thou hadst spent all that is in the earth, couldst thou have produced that affection, but Allah hath done it: for He is Exalted in might, Wise. 63 O Prophet! sufficient unto thou is Allah and those who follow thee of the believers. 64
