▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

The unbelievers should not think that they can really escape Us or that they can never be defeated. 59 Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline towards peace, you too lean towards it, and trust Allah; indeed He only is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 61 And should they seek to deceive you, Allah is sufficient for you. He it is Who strengthened you with His succour and the believers 62 And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise. 63 O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and the believers who follow you. 64
