▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah]. 59 Make ready for them whatever force and strings of horses you can, to terrify thereby the enemy of God and your enemy, and others besides them that you know not; God knows them. And whatsoever you expend in the way of God shall be repaid you in full; you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). 61 If they try to cheat you, God is surely sufficient for you. It is He who has strengthened you with His help and with believers 62 And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise. 63 O Prophet! sufficient unto thee is Allah,- (unto thee) and unto those who follow thee among the Believers. 64
