Al-Anfaal 9 of 10

O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred (steadfast) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence. 65 For the present Allah has made light your burden, and He knows that there is weakness in you; so if there are a hundred patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a thousand they shall overcome two thousand by Allah's permission, and Allah is with the patient. 66 The Prophet is not supposed to take any captives to strengthen his position on the earth. You want worldly gains but God wants the life hereafter for you. God is Majestic and All-wise. 67 Had it not been for a prior prescription from God, there had afflicted you, for what you took, a mighty chastisement. 68 Eat ye then of that which ye have obtained of spoil, lawful and clean, fear Allah; verily Allah is Forgiving, Merciful 69
