And if they deny thee, say: Unto me my work, and unto you your work. Ye are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what ye do. 41 Some of them listen to you: But can you make the deaf hear who do not understand a thing? 42 And there are those of them who look at you, but can you show the way to the blind though they will not see? 43 Indeed Allah does not oppress men at all, but they do wrong themselves. 44 And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided 45 And whether We shew thee some of that which We have promised them, or We cause thee to die, unto us is their return, and Allah is witness of that which they do. 46 And in every nation was a Noble Messenger (from Allah); so when their Noble Messenger came to them, they were judged with fairness, and they were not wronged. 47 And they say: when cometh this promise, if ye say sooth? 48 Say: I do not control for myself any harm, or any benefit except what Allah pleases; every nation has a term; when their term comes, they shall not then remain behind for an hour, nor can they go before (their time). 49 Say, "If His punishment comes upon you in the dead of night, or by the light of day, how will the guilty escape it? 50 Will you believe it when it comes to pass? Indeed, you will believe it then. How impatient you were to hasten it! 51 Then will it be said unto those who dealt unjustly Taste the torment of eternity. Are ye requited aught save what ye used to earn? 52 They ask thee to tell them, 'Is it true?' Say: 'Yes, by my Lord! It is true; you cannot frustrate Him.' 53
