And if they deny thee, say: Unto me my work, and unto you your work. Ye are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what ye do. 41 And of them are some who hearken unto thee, so canst thou make the deaf hear, even though they apprehend not? 42 And of them is he who looketh toward thee. But canst thou guide the blind even though they see not? 43 Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul. 44 And on the day when He will raise all of them together, as if they had never stayed on earth except for a moment during the day, they will recognise one another; for completely ruined are those who denied the meeting with Allah and were not on guidance. 45 Whether We let you see (during your lifetime) some of the chastisement with which We threaten them, or We call you unto Us (before the chastisement strikes them), in any case they are bound to return to Us. Allah is witness to all what they do. 46 And for every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a Messenger; when their Messenger comes, the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged. 47 And they say: When will this threat come about, if you are truthful? 48 Tell them: 'I have no power to harm or benefit even myself, except what Allah may will. There is an appointed term for every people; and when the end of their term comes, neither can they put it off for an hour, nor can they bring it an hour before. 49 Say: 'Have you considered? If His chastisement comes upon you by night or day, what part of it will the sinners seek to hasten? 50 And when it comes to pass, will you believe in it? What! now (you believe), and already you wished to have it hastened on. 51 Then it shall be said to the evildoers: 'Taste the punishment of eternity! Shall you be recompensed except according to what you earned' 52 And they ask you: Is that true? Say: Aye! by my Lord! it is most surely the truth, and you will not escape. 53
