(O Prophet!) Whatever you may be engaged in, whether you recite any portion of the Qur'an, or whatever else all of you are doing, We are witnesses to whatever you may be occupied with. Not even an atom's weight escapes your Lord on the earth or in the heaven, nor is there anything smaller or bigger than that, except that it is on record in a Clear Book. 61 No doubt! Verily, the Auliya' of Allah [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve, 62 Those who have accepted faith and practice piety. 63 For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah. That is what is the great attainment. 64 And let not their speech grieve you; surely might is wholly Allah's; He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 65 Lo! verily Allah's is whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And what is it that they follow who call unto associate-gods beside Allah? They follow but an opinion, and they are but conjecturing. 66 [whereas] it is He who has made the night for you, so that you might have rest therein, and the day, to make [you] see in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who [are willing to] listen. 67 Some people have said that God has begotten a son. God is too Glorious to have a son! God is Self-sufficient and to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. In this, you (people) have no authority. Do you ascribe to God things of which you have no knowledge? 68 Say thou: verily those who fabricate a lie against Allah shall not fare well. 69 They may enjoy the life of this world, but in the end they must return to Us, and then We shall cause them to taste severe chastisement for their disbelieving.' 70
