(O Prophet!) Whatever you may be engaged in, whether you recite any portion of the Qur'an, or whatever else all of you are doing, We are witnesses to whatever you may be occupied with. Not even an atom's weight escapes your Lord on the earth or in the heaven, nor is there anything smaller or bigger than that, except that it is on record in a Clear Book. 61 The friends of God will certainly have nothing to fear, nor will they be grieved. 62 they who have attained to faith and have always been conscious of Him. 63 will receive glad news both in this life and in the life hereafter. The words of God do not change. This alone is the supreme triumph 64 And do not let their saying grieve thee; the glory belongs altogether to God; He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 65 Lo! verily Allah's is whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And what is it that they follow who call unto associate-gods beside Allah? They follow but an opinion, and they are but conjecturing. 66 It is He who made the night for you to rest, and made the day enlightening. Indeed there are signs in this for those who listen. 67 Some people have said that God has begotten a son. God is too Glorious to have a son! God is Self-sufficient and to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. In this, you (people) have no authority. Do you ascribe to God things of which you have no knowledge? 68 Say: "Verily, they who attribute their own lying inventions to God will never attain to a happy state!" 69 They may consider it a means of enjoyment in this life but (on the Day of Judgment) they will all return to Us. Then they will suffer for their disbelief the most severe punishment. 70
