There is no state you are in, whether reading from the Qur'an, or doing something else, but We are watching you as you are engaged in it. There is not the weight of an atom on the earth and in the heavens that is hidden from your Lord, nor is there anything smaller or greater than this but is recorded in the perspicuous Book. 61 Oh, verily, they who are close to God - no fear need they have, and neither shall they grieve: 62 Those who believe and (constantly) guard against evil;- 63 For them there is the glad tiding [of happiness] in the life of this world and in the life to come; [and since] nothing could ever alter [the outcome of] God's promises, this, this is the triumph supreme! 64 Do not let their speech grieve you. All might belongs to Allah. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 65 OH, VERILY, unto God belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on earth: hence, what is it that they follow - those who invoke, beside God, beings to whom they ascribe a share in His divinity? They follow but the conjectures [of others,] and themselves do nothing but guess 66 He it is who has made the night for your rest and the day to see. Surely, in this there are signs for people who listen. 67 They have said, "Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know? 68 Say, “Indeed those who fabricate lies against Allah will never succeed.” 69 (They take their) enjoyment in this world, but to Us they shall return, then, We shall let them taste the terrible punishment because they were unbelievers. 70
