1/4 Hizb 24
< random >
We sent Moses with Our signs and full authority 96 To the Pharaoh and his nobles, but they followed the bidding of Pharaoh, though the bidding of Pharaoh was unrightful. 97 He will go before his people on the Day of Resurrection and will lead them to the Fire for watering-place. Ah, hapless is the watering-place (whither they are) led. 98 seeing that they were pursued by [God's] rejection in this [world,] and [shall be finally overtaken by it] on the Day of Resurrection; [and] vile was the gift which they were given! 99 These are some of the news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped. 100 We were not unjust to them but they were unjust to themselves. The idols which they worshipped instead of God were of no help to them when Our decree came to pass. The idols only brought about their destruction. 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns in the midst of their sins: His punishing grip is terrible and severe. 102 In this surely is a sign for him who fears the torment of the Hereafter, the day when mankind will be assembled together, which will be a day when all things would become evident. 103 Nor shall We withhold it except till an appointed term. 104 The day it arrives, no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those (gathered) some will be wretched and some will be blessed. 105 So as to those who are unhappy, they shall be in the fire; for them shall be sighing and groaning in it: 106 Abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth. Lo! thy Lord is Doer of what He will. 107 ۞ But as for those who [by virtue of their past deeds] will have been blest with happiness, [they shall live] in paradise, therein to abide as long as the heavens and the earth endure - unless thy Sustainer wills it otherwise - as a gift unceasing. 108 So be not thou in doubt concerning that which these (folk) worship. They worship only as their fathers worshipped aforetime. Lo! we shall pay them their whole due unabated. 109
