We sent Moses with Our signs and full authority 96 to Pharaoh and his Council; but they followed Pharaoh's command, and Pharaoh's command was not right-minded. 97 He shall stand at the head of his people on the Day of Resurrection, and shall lead them into the Fire. Evil is the place to which they shall be led. 98 And there was sent following after them in this world a curse, and upon the Day of Resurrection -- evil the offering to be offered! 99 These are some of the news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped. 100 We did not wrong them; it is rather they who wronged themselves. And when the command of your Lord came to pass, the gods besides Allah whom they had called upon, did not avail them in the least. They added nothing to them except ruin. 101 Thus was the punishment of your Lord when He punished the unjust people of the towns. The punishment of your Lord is certainly severe. 102 Indeed in this is a sign for one who fears the punishment of the Hereafter; this is the day on which everyone will be gathered, and this is the Day of Attendance. 103 We shall not postpone it except until a counted term. 104 And when the appointed Day comes, no one shall even dare to speak except by the leave of Allah. Then some will be declared wretched, others blessed. 105 So those who are ill-fated, are in the fire – they will bray like donkeys in it. 106 They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth. 107 ۞ As for the happy, they shall live in Paradise for ever, as long as the heavens and the earth endure, and as your Lord wills an unbroken gift. 108 AND SO, [O Prophet,] be not in doubt about anything that those [misguided people] worship: they but [thoughtlessly] worship as their forefathers worshipped aforetime; and behold, We shall most certainly give them their full due [for whatever good or evil they have earned,] without diminishing aught thereof. 109
