We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose therein: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from thy Lord, the matter would have been decided between them, but they are in suspicious doubt concerning it. 110 Your Lord will reward each one of them in full for their deeds. He is well-aware of all their actions. 111 Therefore remain firm the way you are commanded to, and those who have turned along with you, and O people – do not rebel; indeed He is seeing your deeds. 112 Do not be inclined towards the unjust ones lest you will be afflicted by the hell fire. Besides God, no one can be your protector nor will anyone be able to help you. 113 Say your prayers morning and evening, and during parts of the night; surely good makes amends for evil. This is a reminder for people who pay heed. 114 And be patient, for surely Allah does not waste the reward of the good-doers. 115 BUT, ALAS, among those generations [whom We destroyed] before your time there were no people endowed with any virtue - [people] who would speak out against the [spread of] corruption on earth - except the few of them whom We saved [because of their righteousness,] whereas those who were bent on evildoing only pursued pleasures which corrupted their whole being, and so lost themselves in sinning. 116 And your Lord is not such as to destroy townships without reason, while their people are righteous. 117 And if thy Lord had willed, He verily would have made mankind one nation, yet they cease not differing, 118 Except him on whom your Lord has bestowed His Mercy (the follower of truth - Islamic Monotheism) and for that did He create them. And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled (i.e. His Saying): "Surely, I shall fill Hell with jinns and men all together." 119 And all We relate to you of the tidings of the Messengers is that whereby We strengthen your heart and through these the truth has come to you, and an admonition and a reminder to the believers. 120 And say to the unbelievers: 'Act you according to your station; we are acting. 121 And watch and wait; we are also watching and waiting.' 122 The knowledge of the secret of the heavens and the earth belongs to God alone, and to Him shall all affairs be referred. So worship Him and put your trust in Him alone. Your Lord is not unaware of what you do. 123
