The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 There is no doubt that this book is a guide for the pious; 2 who believe in the unseen, establish the Salats and expend (in Our way) out of what We have bestowed on them; 3 And who believe in that which has been revealed to you and that which was revealed before you and they are sure of the hereafter. 4 It is the pious who follow the guidance of their Lord and gain lasting happiness. 5 BEHOLD, as for those who are bent on denying the truth - it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 6 Allah hath set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their sights is a covering; and unto them shall be a torment mighty. 7
