The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil). 2 who believe in the Unseen, and perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them; 3 And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. 4 Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. 5 As for those who are bent on denying the truth, it makes no difference to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and ears, and veiled their eyes. For them is great deprivation. 7
