O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. 153 And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. 154 And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, 155 who, in adversity say: 'We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return' 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Safa and Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; there is nothing wrong if anyone goes on a pilgrimage to the House, or performs a minor pilgrimage, in walking to and fro between them. Of anyone who does good of his own accord, God is appreciative, and aware. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving shall incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. 161 They ever dwell therein. The doom will not be lightened for them, neither will they be reprieved. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
