O all you who believe, seek you help in patience and prayer; surely God is with the patient. 153 Do not say that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead, they are alive, although you are unaware. 154 And most certainly shall We try you by means of danger, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods, of lives and of [labour's] fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity 155 Who, when a misfortune befalls them, say: Surely we are Allah's and to Him we shall surely return. 156 On those will be prayers and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. 157 ۞ Truly Safa and Marwa are the symbols of God. Whoever goes on pilgrimage to the House (of God), or on a holy visit, is not guilty of wrong if he walk around them; and he who does good of his own accord will find appreciation with God who knows everything. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 Excepted, however, shall be they that repent, and put themselves to rights, and make known the truth: and it is they whose repentance I shall accept - for I alone am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace. 160 But those who deny, and die disbelieving, bear the condemnation of God and the angels and that of all men, 161 Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be given respite. 162 Your God is One God. There is no god except He. He is the Merciful, the Most Merciful. 163
