O all you who believe, seek you help in patience and prayer; surely God is with the patient. 153 And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive. 154 We shall test you through fear, hunger, loss of life, property, and crops. (Muhammad), give glad news to the people who have patience 155 who, in adversity say: 'We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return' 156 upon those rest blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those -- they are the truly guided. 157 ۞ Safah and Marwah are the waymarks of Allah. Whoever performs the pilgrimage to the House or the visit, there shall be no guilt on him to circumambulate between both of them. And whoever volunteers good, Allah is Thankful, the Knower. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 Lo! Those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers; on them is the curse of Allah and of angels and of men combined. 161 They will live condemned forever, will have no relief from the torment, and no attention will be paid to them. 162 Your God is one God; there is no god other than He, the compassionate, ever-merciful. 163
