O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 Do not say that those who are killed in God's cause are dead; they are alive, but you are not aware of it. 154 We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude. 155 Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, "We belong to God and to Him we shall return," 156 Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course. 157 ۞ Verily! As-Safa and Al-Marwah (two mountains in Makkah) are of the Symbols of Allah. So it is not a sin on him who perform Hajj or 'Umrah (pilgrimage) of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) to perform the going (Tawaf) between them (As-Safa and Al-Marwah). And whoever does good voluntarily, then verily, Allah is All-Recogniser, All-Knower. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 But those who deny, and die disbelieving, bear the condemnation of God and the angels and that of all men, 161 Under it they shall remain forever; their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be granted respite. 162 And your Allah is One Allah: There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 163
