O you who believe, seek courage in fortitude and prayer, for God is with those who are patient and persevere. 153 And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." 156 It is they upon whom their Sustainer's blessings and grace are bestowed, and it is they, they who are on the right path! 157 ۞ Lo! (the mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House (of Allah) or visiteth it, to go around them (as the pagan custom is). And he who doeth good of his own accord, (for him) lo! Allah is Responsive, Aware. 158 Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse, 159 Except those who repent and make amends and openly declare (the Truth): To them I turn; for I am Oft-returning, Most Merciful. 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving -- upon them shall rest the curse of God and the angels, and of men altogether, 161 They will remain in it forever; neither will the punishment be lightened for them, nor will they be given respite. 162 AND YOUR GOD is the One God: there is no deity save Him, the Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace. 163
