۞ Have you not looked at those who repaid God's favours with ingratitude; who pulled their people down to ruin, 28 hell - which they [themselves] will have to endure? And how vile a state to settle in! 29 And they set up equals with Allah that they may lead (people) astray from His path. Say: Enjoy yourselves, for surely your return is to the fire. 30 Tell My worshippers, those who believe, who establish the prayer, and spend of what We have given them in private and in public, before the coming of that Day in which there is neither bargaining, nor the taking of friends, 31 Allah it is who hath created the heavens and the earth, and sent down from the heaven water, and hath there by brought forth fruits as a provision for you; and He hath subjected the ships for you that it may run in the sea by His command; and He hath subjected for you the rivers. 32 And maketh the sun and the moon, constant in their courses, to be of service unto you, and hath made of service unto you the night and the day. 33 and gave you of all you asked Him. If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely man is sinful, unthankful! 34
