۞ Have you not seen those who have changed Allah's favor for ungratefulness and made their people to alight into the abode of perdition 28 Hell, wherein they shall roast? How wretched a place to settle in! 29 They set up rivals with Allah to lead others astray. Say to them: 'Take your pleasure; your arrival shall be the Fire' 30 [And] tell [those of] My servants who have attained to faith that they should be constant in prayer and spend [in Our way,] secretly and openly, out of what We provide for them as sustenance, ere there come a Day when there will be no bargaining, and no mutual befriending. 31 [And remember that] it is God who has created the heavens and the earth, and who sends down water from the sky and thereby brings forth [all manner] of fruits for your sustenance; and who has made ships subservient to you, so that they may sail through the sea at His behest; and has made the rivers subservient [to His laws, so that they be of use] to you; 32 He made the sun and moon, each following its course, and the day and the night all subservient to you. 33 And He gave you much of what you seek; and if you enumerate the favours of Allah, you will never be able to count them; indeed man is very unjust, most ungrateful. 34
