Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
