We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
