Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
