Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
