▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
