Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
