And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
