Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
