Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
